The City Hope Foundation presents “Your Future Story” – an adult High School Diploma Completion Program that allows individuals who left school before completion to earn a standard high school diploma from an accredited school. There is no maximum age limit for the diploma program. Whether you’re a high school-aged student looking to finish your diploma, or returning as an adult, you can earn your High School Diploma at your own pace.

Currently, “Your Future Story” is piloting the first phase of development while working with 5 brave students. This is an online-based high school where credits match 1:1 against regular high school courses. Once a student is signed up, they receive help with curriculum placement, and then they are given a one-on-one tutor, a laptop (which stays in our facility), and a safe, quiet space to work.

The great part is that you work at your own pace and on your schedule. Students can use the facility 4 days a week at our Maple Leaf Center at 904 Maple Street, Burlington, Iowa. We will be available to assist the students Monday-Thursday from 8:00 am to 11:30 am.

City Hope is the first non-school organization in Iowa to use this program. We use volunteers with a heart to help people achieve goals and the patience to help with one-on-one tutoring.

We want our students to succeed in life, not just schooling.
