City Hope’s: The Cupboard is a community food bank that provides free food, baby items, household items, hygiene items, clothes, and toys to families in the Burlington, Iowa and West-Central, IL region. The largest Cupboard facility is in Burlington, Iowa housing all types of foods, from frozen meats to eggs, a wide variety of canned foods, breads and pastries, tons of snacks for the kids, milk, sodas, and so much more. The smaller of the two facilities is located in Fort Madison, Iowa. Walk-ins are welcome at both locations during open hours. There are no special requirements to receive help from us. Whether you suffer from poverty-stricken circumstances, or fell in a bad way recently due to a tramautic situation, financial issues, or maybe your paycheck didn’t come in time. Whatever the case is, you are welcome at The City Hope Cupboard. Families and individuals who stop by not only get access to the items they need, but they can also spend one-on-one time with our loving volunteers to build relationships, get resources, and receive individual prayer if they feel comfortable. Our food pantry is a place where we meet needs and build relationships with those in our community. Not only do we fight food insecurity in our community, but we also support our families in any way we can.
