Bridges FAQ
Yes, we provide childcare + the PATHS curriculum, so your child(ren) learns age-appropriate social and behavioral skills.
No, this class is through the Burlington Building Bridges organization and is not affiliated with a college. However, we encourage you to add this to your job resume, especially if you work in the Burlington, Iowa area. Many employers have heard of the Bridges program.
Participants do not get paid, but they do receive a voucher or gift card at the end of each class every week.
No, you do not need to sign a binding contract to volunteer. We ask all Volunteers to provide an accurate estimation of what day(s) and times they will be available. We also ask for at least 24 hours notice if a Volunteer won’t be available. The reliability of our volunteers is crucial to the impact we can make in the lives of our participants.

No, you can donate as many items as you are able to, however all items must meet our requirements of cleanliness and/or freshness of food.
