Our program provides the tools for long-term, impactful change through every stage of growth:
Getting Ahead: This 18-week, hands-on workshop empowers individuals struggling in poverty to reach their fullest potential. Participants investigate their current realities, develop their “future story,” and begin building a strong support system. 💪📖
Staying Ahead: Growth doesn’t stop at graduation! This program helps our graduates continue to grow their resources while surrounding them with supportive relationships that walk alongside them as they continue to build their future. 🤝✨
Faith & Finance: The essential next step! This 12-week course explores how Jesus Christ helps us manage our money, how to build healthy relationships around our finances, and practical ways to stay organized and learn to save. 💰🙏
🎨 Investing in the Next Generation: Bridges Kids & 4-H
We are deeply intentional about our time with our Bridges Kids. Through fun, character-building activities and team-building lessons, we help children learn to self-regulate and develop vital social-emotional skills. We utilize the PATHS (Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies) curriculum—an evidence-based program designed to promote emotional competency and reduce behavior problems. 🧩❤️
Big News! We have a massive shoutout for Miss Mary from the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. When we faced a program gap this semester, Mary stepped in as a true blessing to bring 4-H and Bridges together!
We are thrilled to announce the formation of a Bridges 4-H Clovers Group and a Bridges Kids Group! 🍀✨
