🥫 Your Community Needs You! Fighting Hunger at The Cupboard
The hunger crisis and poverty barriers facing our local families are too large for one person to defeat. But together, as a community brought together by the Lord, we can stand strong against these obstacles and show the love and care God intended for our neighbors! 🕊️🙌
🛒 Meet The Cupboard: More Than Just a Food Bank
The Cupboard is a community resource providing a free, judgment-free shopping experience for families and individuals across Southeast Iowa and West-Central Illinois. We believe in meeting needs and building relationships, ensuring that everyone who walks through our doors feels the support of a loving community. 🍎🥖
Abundant Resources: Our largest facility in Burlington houses everything from frozen meats, eggs, and milk to fresh breads, pastries, and plenty of snacks for the kids. We also provide canned goods, sodas, and household essentials.
Beyond Food: We support families by providing baby items, hygiene products, household goods, clothing, and toys to ensure the whole home is cared for. 🧸🧼
Two Locations: Whether you visit our largest facility in Burlington or our location in Fort Madison, you’ll find a welcoming environment.
No Barriers, No Requirements: Whether you are navigating long-term poverty or a recent hardship—like a traumatic situation, a late paycheck, or unexpected financial stress—you are welcome here. Walk-ins are always encouraged!
❤️ Heart-Centered Support
At The Cupboard, we don’t just provide items; we provide connection. Visitors can spend one-on-one time with our dedicated volunteers to build friendships, access additional resources, and—if you feel comfortable—receive individual prayer. We are here to support your family in every way we can. 🙏✨
